(This session took place in-person under Chatham House Rule, and was thus not recorded).

The gap between community security needs and experiences, and security provided by peacekeepers and law enforcementactors, is exacerbated by a lack of inclusive community engagement and knowledge by formal institutions. Conducting frequent household surveys in conflict-affected areas provides deeper insights and amplifies community voices in affecting their own security. This session involved panelists Anton Quist (Project Lead, Human Security Survey South Sudan, PAX) & Saba Azeem (Project Lead, Human Security Survey Iraq, PAX).
