What are the challenges faced by researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in understanding and articulating the impact of peacebuilding interventions and making evidence-based decisions on interventions? How can we better link high-level conflict frameworks with expertise and insights from local experiences? How can the Global Impact Framework (GIF) piloted by Search for Common Ground (Search) address these needs? What would make this GIF more useful to researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in the KPSRL community?Search proposes the GIF as a way to bring together the expertise and knowledge that exists and to reframe this in a way that can foster cross-fertilization, inform better learning and decision-making at all levels, and redefine accountability to consider local actors and needs as first-order factors. Watch the recording above to learn more about the Global Impact Framework and how, if successfully adopted widely, it could enable peacebuilders to tell a more complete, holistic story of how conflict plays out.

This session featured panelists Adrienne Lemon (Search for Common Ground's Director of the Institutional Learning Team based in Brussels) and Jack Farrell (DME for Peace Project Manager at Search for Common Ground based in London).
